Abstract Textured Buddha Face Painting in Gold and Purple, 47 x 24 Inches

This wide wall painting measures 47 inches across and 24 inches high. A Buddha face in yellow and gold sits near the top, surrounded by a dark field of swirling purple and gold paint. Raised, textured elements give the surface depth, so the face seems to lift slightly from the background and the look changes as the light moves.

Buddha faces are a familiar subject in Thai and Lao homes, where they appear on shrines, temple walls and in modern art. This piece takes a contemporary approach and suits a living room, an office or a stairwell. Hang it with secure hardware, dust the surface gently with a soft brush and keep it away from damp.
